Moth Lake: A Horror Story

If you're looking for a horror game with a thrilling atmosphere, good story and music, then this game is for you. One thing that I like about this game is that it offers different kinds of stories for you to explore and it also has immersive gameplay wherein you can outrun and hide from the monster and you can test your problem-solving skills with its challenging puzzles.

Deifinitely a good story game, the visuals give a retro feel and the sound is accompanied by a dynamic soundtrack, however, there are still a lot of texts involved in the gameplay.  Very atmospheric and environmental. In this game, you will need to interact with various hotspots and solve puzzles in order to complete a series of tasks. You may need to run or hide in order to survive, but if you fail and die, you can simply restart the scene because the game saves at each scene.

I bet you can't play this one alone and at night! This game will give you chills. You have to avoid and hide from the monster. To find the puzzle you are looking for, you have to run or hide to survive the game. I've been surprised so many times and saw the monster appear in front of me. I wasn't able to sleep well last night *ugh*. Play at your own risk.

Big clap for the graphics and sound effects. I didn't expect the twist and story, it felt like I was really in the game! This is one of the most thrilling games I have played. The plot was a big plus! I wouldn't recommend you guys play it in the dark, you might imagine something out of it. It also had realistic graphics, so I advise kids not to play it alone too.

Moth Lake: A Horror Story is pretty creepy, like SUPER CREEPY! This game took me by surprise, I didn't think a game on mobile could be so creepy and scary, but this one does it pretty well Gameplay wise you are being pursued by some tree demon, and it's trying to eat you, you must also search for your dog, who has decided to run away outside and while you are doing this, you are being chased by the tree demon. You can pick up items and also drag items to reveal hidden spots.

When I tried Moth Lake: Horror Story, I didn't think a horror game on mobile could actually be scary, but oh boy was I wrong. I mean, it's not terrifying, but the level of creepiness in this game is there. The poor kid is being terrorized by some tree creature? And it wants to kill him. Meanwhile the kid is chasing after his dog at the same time, while trying not to die from this creepy tree man. The game has multiple choice sections and an amazingly creepy soundtrack. I think this game is amazing and you should play it. It's also available on Steam too.

I played Dentures and Demons by Sui Arts before, which is a nice little pixel adventure game with a great story and fantastic gameplay design. I've been waiting for this new work Moth Lake by the same indie developer and it's finally here! I haven't dug very deep into this game yet (and that's why I'm only giving it a 4-star), but I already found it quite intriguing in terms of the horror vibe or the story.
