If you've ever played an idle combat-based gacha game, you'll know exactly what to expect from Yggdrasil 2: Awakening. I don't mind idle games nor gacha, but they really need something to help them stick out from the dozens of options out there, and unfortunately, this game doesn't have much of anything.
The closest thing Yggdrasil 2 has to a unique hook is its setting. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where the protagonist teams up with a bunch of chibi anime ladies to try to survive and build a way forward.
Well, Yggdrasil 2: Awakening sure is a gacha game

This is a gacha game but it doesnt restrict the user from playing it... there is no energy, and the early game is very generous like I've just played this game for the past 12 hrs and I have reached account level 15 with 1 UR, 11 SSR, 1 Orange SR (Lost Nina I guess idk why maybe a bug???) and the other characters... It has a fun idle gameplay which is what I was looking for while I do some work... The skill animations are great that every skill animation interacts with the enemies targeted... But the sound effects aren't that great and the voice over kind of weak but overall ain't bad but ain't that great... I hope they'd improve on later patches and also....

What can i say. Another same looking gacha team builder with auto battle. The only difference is how characters look. Optimization sucks, I'm forced to play on medium settings as after few minutes of playing game starts to drop frames even of graphics is nothing special. For me it's simply game for few hours, nothing special to stick with
