別看很簡單，玩的其實是高端局
與那些動不動就整AOE或者有定點突襲特殊技的武俠遊戲比，末刀除了武器外，沒有任何技能，所以左邊搖桿+右邊以攻防為核心的戰鬥按鈕就成了從頭通到尾的所有操作。
所以玩下來最有趣的地方就是從一開始就要集中精力，畢竟對面敵人一刀和你給對面敵人送上一刀，都是一擊斃命的，這也是遊戲好玩的地方。我玩過很多的武俠遊戲，包括單機和網遊在內，從難度上比，末刀的難度不能 說很高，但是不低，但是從自由度角度考慮，末刀給的自由度確實少了點，如果我是策劃，我給的武器就不會只有那幾種，而是十八種兵器至少放個十二三個，這樣也能讓打鬥瞬間的策略和手法更多一些。
一刀死的玩法是有點意思，不過我對遊戲的地圖其實不那麽滿意，其實地圖關卡這種設定大概在2015年那會就已經有遊戲做出動態設計了，比如場景或者場景中的物品破壞後會影響戰鬥，其實每一關的關卡從現有設計來講，除了個別地圖用的是比較空曠的設計外，其他很多都有一定的線性感，表現上就是很多的裝飾物形成了不同彎曲的小路，也就是玩家必須按照這些路線走。而很多敵人分布在不同的路線區域，雖然狹小空間反饋給玩家的是比較高的反應力和集中走位與攻防，但是這種地圖多了，就多多少少有一點：反正敵人就在那，怎麽走都得先遇到他們等等。
