Netmarble, which felt limited in expressing IP in its predecessor, a turn-based mobile genre, said that it prepared 'Seven Deadly Sins Origin' to more perfectly express the worldview of the Seven Deadly Sins IP. 'The Seven Deadly Sins Origins' was developed as an open world with an original story based on the multiverse worldview of the Seven Deadly Sins. The player goes on an adventure in the continent of Britannia where time and space are intertwined with Tristan, the new protagonist. As it is an open world, unlike the previous work, you can freely move around the world, and you can directly manipulate characters in the original to engage in real-time battles. In the game, not only the contents related to the original IP but also characters appearing in the work appear, and you can solve and explore various cases that could not be seen in the original. If you look at the gameplay video, you can see that you can find treasure chests by climbing walls or diving in the water, and you can see that the elements of exploration are emphasized, such as using the character's skills to build a bridge or fly. 'Origin of the Seven Deadly Sins' is scheduled to be released on PC, mobile and console platforms, and the exact release date has not been determined.

I always loved watching seven deadly sins and would continue to do so as long as the show keeps going or eventually starts doing movies, but after playing genshin impact & seeing this I'd have to say if they did it right it looks as if they have actually created the anime experience of a life time as if the anime itself came to life in a video game for everyone to be able to experience! All I'm hoping for now is if they have enough "booba" & "other" themes in the game to keep me interested like the anime was.

I love genshin impact but i don't know why people say this is a genshin copy. I won't be biased and stupid to say something like that! Plus seven deadly sins has existed as an anime series before the idea of genshin was barely even born, even the 7ds grand cross has been out years before it, and I don't care much about netmarbel, I only care if it will have an English/global version, because I won't even consider downloading otherwise!!

I'm excited for this game but I'm also extremely cautious because it's netmarble. Ni no Kuni Cross Worlds had potential but it got ruined by netmarble. If you guys read this, don't overhype this game because you're gonna be let down by netmarble again. Temper your expectations and don't let these scummy companies lead you on.

Seven deadly sins orgin did NOT copy Genshin Impact, Seven deadly sins was released 2014 October while Genshin impact was released 2020 September so there is a chance that Genshin impact copied Seven deadly sins instead.
I do not care if you are a Genshin impact player, I am also a genshin impact player but Seven deadly sins came before Genshin impact.
7ds was released 6 years before Genshin!!

To people crying out loud saying genshin copy, first of all genshin is a copy of zelda. So this is not the copy of genshin,but zelda.
And for the devs, I only have one request, don't make it too complicated like genshin. Just make one character gameplay with different skill tress, attributes, weapons, etc. It would be a lot smoother and more chill to play.

for all the people who's mad that this game "looks" like a genshin copy, chill out man not all open world rpgs are a genshin copy, if you think it is then you're a fucking braindead genshin no-life. Open world rpgs are a goddamn genre it is not limited to genshin impact. First off this game does not copy the character models from genshin, second off, this game does not copy the world model from genshin therefore this game does not copy shit from genshin, the mechanics might look similar since it is a genre
