Ninja Chowdown is an endless running game with enjoyable 2D pixel visuals. featuring ninjas and donuts! Play as Donatsu, the chubby and agile ninja from the Dough-jo — a donut shop by day and a ninja dojo by night.
The ninja theme will have you throwing various objects at your opponents while running, which will be displayed in slow motion so you can perfectly target your foes. However, this is not a simple game. If you want to go far, you'll need to have impeccable timing.
The gameplay isn't particularly unique, as other successful games with similar gameplay exist, such as Zombie Tsunami, but what makes this game stand out is the awesome retro feel to the graphics design and the firing control, which requires you to swipe the game screen at your preferred angle to hit obstacles like a ninja and flying enemies.
It also has elements like item selection, which lets you to alter your throwable item, unlockable skills, and a companion system, which allows you to attach pets and have them follow you through the stages.
It is also quite addicting since it offers very simple gameplay and a not so heavy graphics that pretty sure any mobile device with the average specification can deal with it's just that it runs some advertisement every time you restart the stage.
