Worse than anything, my beloved tablet has finally gone to tablet heaven :( I've ordered a Galaxy S6 tab, but it will take 4 days to arrive :( I checked out all the peer reviews for the S7 and most people said it wasn't worth the extra cash. Most say the S4 and S6 were the best choices. All my best games are on the tab, so I'll be jonesing until my new tab arrives :=/

Some people have been asking me about upgrading the phantoms. if you do it the easy way, do it like this. on the right side of every phantom card is a SET symbol. if you click the link, it will show you which phantom to link in order to get a set. all you need to do is make sure to have all the linked phantoms in your inventory, attach the first one to the first skill in your combo, then attach the set phantom to the second link in your combo. this will improve your effectiveness exponentially! if you have done it correctly, when you again click the set link, it will show all the phantoms within that set, and they will be glowing. if you don't see that glowing, then you've done something wrong. On my top combo, I have 2 sets of orange phantoms. On my bottom set of combos I have a three set link of purple phantoms, which really does massive damage. if you have any questions, or if I haven't explained this thoroughly enough, don't hesitate to leave a message here, and I'll respond as soon as I see it.

Still no sign of boredom. the stages are getting more challenging, and it's still very fun. I realize I left out the Artwork of the game. it's brilliant. adding another Category at 5 stars for the Artwork
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Gear update at the bottom of post as of 15 minutes ago. The game just got a whole lot deeper and more interesting. you can summon phantoms which attach to your skills. there are too many to list, but attaching phantoms add huge improvements to gameplay. Making the right combos of the same family further increases stats such as dex, int, atk, crits etc. I'm brand new to it, and haven't yet attached them. I need to look into which are the optimal phantoms to attach. Very nice addition to the game, and I've added a star to now a 5 star rating because of this very cool feature.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++ UPDATE 29JAN Here is ANOTHER really pleasant surprise. I'm REALLY enjoying this game a lot :) I'm now L22 Assassin, just getting my Advanced skills, and my gear is all orange and purp. The main character in the game is one sick puppy :) I won't spoil anything, but his dark insanity comes out in full force. I'm experimenting in moving the skills around in the Combo fields, and I'm still really liking the system. I'm now more sure than ever how huge this game is, and I thought it would get old and repetitive but it hasn't. I'm loving it more and more. ***TIP***: be sure you keep checking the gear vendor especially after you finish an inhuman difficulty run because the stock changes. You can't get bracers for the longest time, and they are now in the gear vendor shop along with capes. For those of you who have been hesitant to d/l this, if you like fast, furious combat with tons of skills and great combos, with a really dark storyline thrown in, grab it. I'm adding another rating for Story below
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I wasn't expecting much, I'm not usually a fan of side scrollers. As I played, it began to become deeper and more interesting. The interface isn't great, but after playing more, you'll figure it out pretty easily. The combo/skills system is pretty robust, and they do what they're supposed to do. There's one big CON that I've told the beta team. there's no way to hold pots, and while you're in a stage, you can't access the inventory at all. Which is dumb in a game like this because at higher stages, you need health pots. the skills are greyed out until you're at proper level to get them. so are their descriptions. Again, dumb. How can you plan your build if you can't see all the skills, whether you're high enough to get them or not. I like that the scenes are pretty short, because it looks like there are LOT if them, each having 3 difficulty levels. I'll keep playing as long as it stays fun :)
