War of the Three Kingdoms, the Worst-Reviewed Game on Steam, Removes Itself from the Platform

Today, Chinese online TCG War of the Three Kingdom silently removed its steam page.

 Previously, because of the game’s strong in clination to lure players to make a lot of in-game purchases, it received over ten thousand Steam comments, and only 7% of them are positive ones. Now, after being

removed, users can still see the page with the game info, but without the general rate.

The game was released on Steam last December 17th and became the worst-reviewed title in only five days, replacing the first place efootball 2022. Now efootball 2022 went back to the worst rank.

War of the Three Kingdom was based on a physical card game with the same name that was first released in China in 2008. But players complained that this digital version by developer Yokagames is almost unplayable without paying a lot of money to gain access to certain characters. They wondered if the game was just a shameless cash-grab.
