Who, why, how, where and critically, when. Those are questions that you learn to answer from muscle memory almost when you get into the heat of the battles where every second counts in some instances.
I keep trying to remember why I started playing but I suppose it's inconsequential as I know exactly why I stayed: incredible music, pristine art, some of the most fun gameplay I've ever encountered on mobile and the story got me hooked with my most anticipated NPC dropping the N being Ascalon as soon as I saw her design.
There's a bunch to learn which isn't super hard but mastering it does take some time and effort before you command the board with precision or just unleash the elite beasts to raise hell. The recently reintroduced rogue-lite mode truly elevated the core game to new heights and there's so much more coming.
