A Student going on a Path of Vengeance

Summary:

The story of a young Kung Fu student on a path of revenge, and hunting for the murderers of his family. One against all, he has no allies and countless enemies. He has to rely on his unique mastery of Kung Fu as well as a mysterious pendant to prevail and preserve his family’s legacy.

My experience:

So this reminds me of another movie " Fist of Fury "

Aka the " A young man seeks vengeance for the death of his teacher" but in this game, you can choose between a boy or girl as the main character. While you go on your journey of vengeance you have these strange coins on your belt those are what age you each time you lose.

In a way, it's a to be continued but with a price the more you age the more damage but less health you have available. There are main ways to gain your youth back just need to take down the enemy you lose them to or regain them at a statute.

So far I am very impressed with the mechanics of the game, mostly patience helps way more than going in guns blazing ( as shown here). A comparison between the switch and PC versions is very visible looking at the Nintendo Switch version the graphics are downgraded compared to the other.

Even with the bad graphics, the Controllers do feel abit better!

Sensei mode for those who want a challenge

Easy to play Hard to Master

Cons: 

Graphics are..low on the Nintendo Switch version

Easy to play Hard to master

Some controls for consoles feel abit sluggish

The death multiplier can be very brutal for most gamers

Verdict

So SIFU has a really good concept, great mechanics, and overall amazing level design/visuals but at the same time can be very difficult for those that die countless times

SIFU gets a rating of: Try it before you buy

It's more of if you like those arcade fighting games with a linear storyline or if you want a very challenging game!
