Just under a week and a half until you’ll have Gigantic X in your hands!
We’ve been working hard on polishing the game and ensuring that it’ll be the most fun, engaging, and stable experience possible. We hope you guys are as excited as we are.
Starting Monday, our team will be putting out a steady stream of content and events over the week leading up to launch that antsy users may be interested in.
Dev Team Interviews
We have a series of interviews for people interested in the creative process of Gigantic X. We spoke to the Sound team, talking about the music and sound design of Gigantic X; and we also spoke to each of the playable character’s design teams, the people behind our three heroes’ art and gameplay. They discuss everything from the history of each character’s inception to what they liked and disliked most about working on them.
These will be released over the next week on our official page and linked on our Facebook and Discord - so if you’re interested in this sort of thing, be sure to check these out.
Video Series: Gigantic X Mercenary Boot Camp
A series of short, casual let’s play videos that will walk players through some early parts of Gigantic X, briefly introducing you to the game’s mechanics, characters, mission types, and other systems.
These episodes will be released daily throughout next week, on the Action Square YouTube channel.
Discord/Facebook Event
We currently have an ongoing event on Discord and Facebook, asking you guys to tell us why you’re looking forward to playing Gigantic X. 10 comments from Facebook and 10 comments from Discord will be selected by our team, based on creativity, originality, and wit; these users will receive in-game rewards once they log in to the game. The top 3 comments will receive Rookie Packs, while the others will receive Recruitment Packs.
The wait is almost over, and we hope some of this content will give you guys something to watch and do, and make the remaining 10 days slightly easier to stomach.
