SYNCED - Looter shooter for free

Join the war with deadly techno-creatures called Nanos inside the sealed exclusion zone known as the Meridian.

I took part in a betatest of SYNCED, a new F2P shooter. At first I assumed it would be "just" another free to play multiplayer shooter, but this one is different. It is not only extremely beautiful, it also has a nice story background and it's core element is the cooperative fight against the Nanos.

It is a team-based PvE looter-shooter - kill Nanos and grab loot. You have to defeat Nanos by shooting at their weak point, and when they are weakened enough - sync them to take over their body. Store them inside your armor, release them to fight for you. Quite cool. And if you prefer PvP, SYNCED will also have a PvP mode.

Pros:

- Base game is free

- Game is visually impressive

- PvE or PvP modes

- Looks quite polished already

Cons:

- Online only. If the servers are down, there is no game.

The full Open Beta will start on Dec 10th. If you like multiplayer shooters, give it a try.
