We are going on abit of a casual gaming route today, looking at a

cute/relaxing/puzzle game called:

Resonance of the Ocean

Even though this game is short, it's still very calm and soothing!

Summary:

At the edge of a lonely island, pick up what the waves wash ashore to make instruments. Use those instruments to answer the echoes heard from beyond the ocean.

In this hand-drawn world, enjoy a soothing soundscape formed by waves, footsteps, and the sounds made from things washed up.

My Experience:

So as I explained, this game is only 10 to 30mins long, but it takes you out of the usual games of shooting and destroying things to just taking the time to listen to the sounds of the ocean and testing out random objects to match the sounds.

It's just a simple mechanic of listening to sounds and matching them to what you hear that can change an entire mood!

I wish there were more to this!

Verdict

This game is free, but you can support the developer by buying the Music/Artwork collection.

Honestly, for free to play, this was worth it to relax and take a step back.
