Loop is a wonderful puzzle game that looks like Sky: Children of the Light and reminds me a little bit of Monument Valley. If you sorely enjoy puzzle games like me, it’s an absolute must-try. The game’s complex, but not too challenging. Oh, and the visuals are out of this world too.
When it comes to surprises, I’m always hoping to find one. Loop was a surprisingly great game because its looks can be a little deceiving at first. From the game preview alone, I expected Loop to be pretty decent and something I’d possibly enjoy. However, after playing for nearly two hours, I couldn’t have been more wrong. Loop is freakin’ spectacular and probably one of the best mobile puzzle games out there that I can play on the fly.
It’s visually stunning and the sound design feels peaceful. I really enjoyed the joyful tunes and how the world changed as I played. Even though there’s no narrative, the game conveyed a lot of emotion through its visuals and that was enough to let me know what was happening.
The adventure itself was full of puzzles too. Loop does a tremendously great job of making its puzzles gradually more difficult. I wasn’t thrown into a level that I had to spend five to ten minutes trying to figure out because it was way too hard. Loop introduced me to different mechanics and puzzles over time, but each level still felt challenging.
The game performs smoothly and I didn’t face any issues at all. All the controls and designs feel polished and well-made. Heck, I reckon that people who don’t enjoy puzzle games might actually like playing Loop too.  There’s really nothing that I even remotely disliked about the game, which is quite impressive. I guess I could say, I'd play this game on loop.
