I am Japanese, so please forgive my poor English skills. You may already know this, but if the opponent changes their vector to the outside, this combo will no longer connect. Therefore, I found it helpful to occasionally use doun tilt to change the direction of the combo and increase its damage output.

Thanks I had no idea!! Adding on to what you said, after the down tilt you could possibly continue the loop with an up air.
