Neon Abyss: Infinite is a beautiful 2D platformer that'll entertain you for hours

Neon Abyss: Infinite is a roguelike 2D platformer with some of the best pixel art graphics I've seen in a game in ages. From the moment I fell into the abyss, I was introduced to a world filled with vibrant colors, weird creatures, interactive environments, and such an array of weaponry that I kept playing just to see all the creative ways I could vaporize my enemies. With the added incentive of collecting eggs to gain cool abilities, and unlock awesome pets, Neon Abyss: Infinite easily kept me entertained for hours.
I was difficult not to be impressed with Neon Abyss: Infinite as soon as I started playing. The flashy neon environments drew my attention and included fully interactive mini-games. I could play basketball, buy drinks at the bar, and chill on the dance floor when not blasting through monsters in a dungeon. And there were so many ways to blast my way through enemies. With over +400 items and weapons to collect, it made playing through the different levels fun every time.
One weapon I collected was a cat, a literal cat, which was also a gun. But I also collected a gun that shot a whip-like projectile. I loved the pegasus wings, which allowed me to fly around the levels at will, and each time I collected a new item, my character would change to suit the thing I collected. Seeing my character run around with a demon mask or just wearing the shades I equipped him with was a lot of fun. Little things like that made this one stand out.
But my favorite part had to be the eggs. I collected over ten, and each time I found one, it gave me hope that I would get a cool pet or item to assist in my revenge quest. This meant I had a little buddy kicking ass, which is always fun. The boss battles were also imaginative. At one point, I fought "Kimmy The God of Idols," who was like an evil marionette on strings.
There's not much to complain about with Neon Abyss: Infinite, but a few kinks need to be worked out. The game would frequently crash, especially when multiple enemies were on the screen or I had a gun with many animations.
Nevertheless, Neon Abyss: Infinite is a great game worth your time. The multiple game modes, collectibles, characters, and constantly changing abyss mean you won't be bored, and the gorgeous visuals are worth checking out if pixel art is your thing. Download it and treat yourself!
