I am going to be truthful with you...the game we will be taking a look at today is abit of a mess.
This feels soo bad on these controls and how this feels like one of those " Fake games" that I decided to check it out, and...yea, I was correct.
Today we are looking at a game called: " Dumb Ways to Climb."
Yea... you heard me right, and that is the name of the game title.
Summary:
In this mind-blowing adventure, you'll guide the Bean as it mindlessly drags itself across a jumble of objects. Is it a ladder? Is it a pogo stick? Who knows! The suspense is unbearable! No need for exciting challenges or brain-teasing puzzles here. Just mind-numbing climbing action that will leave you wondering how this game even made it past the brainstorming stage.
But wait, there's more! Feast your eyes on our visually "unique" graphics. Prepare to be underwhelmed by backgrounds and assets that were seemingly picked out of a hat. It's an artistic masterpiece... if your definition of a masterpiece is a random mishmash.
My Experience:
So yea, this game is a random mishmash of whatever this is now. I won't lie. My first thought is, "How many ads will I see throughout this game, and how bad will the gameplay be?"
I first noticed that the camera angles were the worst...couldn't even angle in a way to make sure I was not falling off, there was no indication as to where I needed to go, and the most annoying noise for each jump was driving me crazy abit...ughh
Also, another thing that annoyed me incredibly was that there were no checkpoints.
Pros and Cons of Dumb Ways to Climb
Pros:
Was Challenging
Unique Level Design
Nice Graphics
Cons:
Need to fix the camera
Change or Remove the Jump sounds
Make more Checkpoints so you don't have to start from the beginning constantly
Controls feel very low responsive
No options
Verdict:
Honestly, if you want to play a game like this but with a way better system, you should check out a game called " Only Up!" it's like this but way better and a better system in case you fall.
But this one, yea not very fun at all...
Dumb Ways to Climb gets a rating of NOT RECOMMENDED.
