Genshin Impact's massive Version 4.0 update has finally received a release date. " As Light Rain Falls Without Reason" goes live on August 16th for PS4, PS5, PC, iOS and Android, and adds the long-awaited fifth region, Fontaine.

While it has a "bustling city on the surface", there are also underwater areas that don't require oxygen. In this update, you can enjoy underwater combat and fight with new bosses like Icewind Suite and the Emperor of Fire and Iron.
