Honkai: Star Rail confirms version 1.3 details and release date!

The highly anticipated Honkai: Star Rail version 1.3 update is set to launch on August 30. The new content promises to keep players engaged with additional features, characters, and areas.

Three New Characters Highlight

Three new characters, including Fu Xuan (5 stars - The Preservation) , Dan Heng - Imbibitor Lunae (5 stars - The Destruction) , and Lynx (4 stars - The Abundance), will be part of the 1.3 update. Fu Xuan and Lynx are Quantum-type, while Dan Heng uses Imaginary-type powers. They add to the already diverse cast of characters in the game. The characters release phase will be:

New Map: Aurum Alley

In addition to new characters, a fresh map called Aurum Alley will be introduced. It will offer players new landscapes to explore, adding depth and complexity to the already expansive game world.

Upgraded Simulated Universe

The 1.3 update also brings an upgraded Simulated Universe. It introduces The Swarm Disaster, a new story focusing on the conflict between Tayzzyronth and other Aeons. The update adds a layer of intrigue to the overarching narrative.

Future Expansions

Though the excitement for version 1.3 is palpable, HoYoVerse has already teased future expansions. A Fire element character named Topaz has been revealed, with a likely appearance in Version 1.4, not before October or November.
