For a month this isn't bad. Arknights is a game that will reward you for strategy. While 6 stars do help in clearing stages, just search up 'low rarity stage clear' for a particular stage or ongoing event and you will see what I meant. As for upgrading, it's really about just being patient and building resources. Just like every other gaccha game out there for example like punishing gray raven. Best of luck and I hope you give the game a proper chance so that you may appreciate the gameplay, story and progression and see whether it is "P2W" as some ppl would say....

why are people still playing this p2w dumpster fire of a game is blowing my mind!

ive been playing this game for like 1yr 3months and in the beginning im just like you. im really frustrating lvl up every ops, and progressing through event stages. but when people sharing their strategy using 3star and 4star (youtube guides) it gives me hope and encourage me to progressing more. and now, i have every 6stars operators that i want with just a yr of dedication and patience the game reward me and this is just the beginning of my enjoyment of this game. just play the game this game needs more time, patience and pure will. also im pure f2p here, arknights is a friendly f2p game. this is not a p2w dumpster that anyone's people said. (sorry for my english)

skill issues? take note that 3 star ops can carry you to hard stages

People need to know that Arknights is a game that requires hard grinding. You need to spend alot of time playing the game with patience and the game will reward you. Its not p2w, its just hard to play and requires real dedication
