Sea Of Stars Is A Love Letter To JRPG Fans!
The past few years gaming has been Cluttered with live service games and even battle pass as time went on players felt the gaming industry has gone stale. This time around in 2023 in my opinion this has been Overall One of the best years for gaming. Games like tears of the Kingdom, ff16, Hi-fi rush and now even Baldur's Gate 3 has shown the industry you don't need to always make a live service game. which leads me to to the topic Of This Review, Sea of Stars.
Sea Of Stars is a beautiful Masterpiece, a love letter to JRPGS back in the 90s. Developed by a indie Dev Studio by the name of Sabotage Studios. The same team who made The messenger. Sea of Stars really showed what sabotage was really made of. Sea of stars is a narrative driven rpg with beautifully crafted visuals and the nostalgia of pixel graphics. This is a game about two warriors who were born on the Summer and Winter Solstice that are magically enhanced beings that are fated to fight these Lovecraftian esque monsters named Dwellers but a lot happens a lot more than that but I'll save the story for a little later in the video stay tune for that.
