9/10 times it's a great game but there's always that 1 that doesn't like it.

So I was part of the CBT and back then I played up to chapter 3 which was about as much available back in the CBT. Now the big money question is is it worth playing Reverse 1999. 9/10 times yes it is but there's that one person it just won't be right for and without further ado let's dive in.
📖 Storyline:
The story can be plenty of dark with themes of extortion, child abuse and even death. But and a big but some of the dialogue is wonky asf especially if you're reading the Japanese translation.
A lot of the dialogue makes you wanna hit the skip button cause of how unnecessary it is. Also weird thing the beginning sequence of the game every time you hit skip it would show you a summary Arknights style but so far through chp 1 I only saw it in the beginning otherwise I didn't see no skip summary option.
I don't wanna spoil the story but take it with a grain of salt you are gonna either love it or just ignore it entirely.
🎮 Gameplay:
Gameplay is pretty standard gacha turnbase, if you played Takt OP you've seen this exact gameplay before. Regular turn base combat but damn are the animations smooth! Such as with all turn base gachas the main gameplay is how to build your team. Though I'll say this using the right debuffs and moves actually can help make combat quicker and smoother rather than just spamming every card. It's fairly simple, plus there's an incredible tutorial given which should clear up most things if you can more than 3 braincells that is...
👍 Pros:
The game is artistically beautiful, the animation is clean asf, and the music(score) is just incredible. Combat is fun though it's missing a skip ticket clear it does have a 4x one but come on that's not the same. The game isn't pvp or anything so it's pretty waifu friendly, but that doesn't mean there isn't a meta to follow for optimal performance.
👎 Cons:
Story can be a hit or miss depending on how seriously you're planning to engage in the story.
Icky translations of the non English voice acting and lack of a skip ticket system can be proven annoying in the long term. Personal opinion con should have shorter dailies or just adopted a weekly only system like FGO.

It's a great gacha to try out and even a great one to main if you want with plenty of content to keep you engaged in for now! So try out if you're gacha hunting~ and happy Halloween everyone!
