Taking You through the "Conquest of Empires 2" Beginner's Guide: Day One
Day 1 objectives:
1. Improve your strength.
2. Expand your territory quickly.
3. Level up your buildings and lord.
Ⅰ. How to quickly improve your own strength? or obtain resources?
——I believe that every player who has just entered the game will have the above troubles. In the mobile game "Conquest of Empire 2", the decisive factors that determine the player's early-stage strength are the hero level and the hero’s soldier limit.
The hero's soldier limit can be increased by two means:
1. Raise the hero level.
2. Raise the level of one building in the main city: the command hall.
After completing the guide for beginners, the player's hero level will be around Lv.4. At this timepoint, player’s heroes can make up a 5-person team. The general formation is recommended in the early stage, and after getting more familiar with the game rhythm, you can study other formations.
On the first day of the game, you should try to form a team of 4-star heroes and level up as soon as possible.
In the game, 5-star heroes > 4-star heroes > 3-star heroes, and 4-star heroes can be quickly obtained through Royal Enlistment Order in General Challenge. You can also get more powerful 5-star heroes through the game's first top-up, and get a 4-star or above hero per day through the beginners’ 7-day task. The 3-star heroes in the game can be directly recruited in the Tavern by spending a few of silver coins.
When the castle reaches Lv.10, Players can unlock World Recruitment. Players will be able to find 3-star, 4-star heroes easily, and even have a chance to meet 5-star heroes.
When the hero level is around Lv.4, the recommended leveling-up places are: World Map, and General Challenge, and the former is better for a Lv.4 player.
Completing the specified stage in General Challenges can get lots of rewards.
After the daily challenge, the corresponding heroes will continue to fight in the challenge, and according to the accumulated time, you can receive a lot of resources and experience rewards.
At the same time, after completing a certain stages of the General Challenge, you can obtain heroes through the Royal Enlistment Order in the lower left corner. At game’s early stage, players can quickly accumulate the number of available heroes in the General Challenge, and enrich the troops.
Note: Players will not lose troops in the General Challenge, and can get a lot of game experience and heroes. So at the early stage, it is recommended to play General Challenge quickly, until you’re unable to win, and then you can move to the big world to level up.
When the entire team reaches Lv.5 or higher, players can switch to the World Map. In the World Map, farm through killing monsters is the main leveling-up method. As a source of experience for heroes in the later stage, World Map is supposed to be visited frequently. Since our Hero level has reached Level 5, it is recommended to look directly at the map's Lv.2 territories: Coconut Tree and Cactus.
These 2 territories can help heroes reach Lv.8-10 quickly. By the way, capturing coconut trees and cactus can help the main city increase food production quickly in the early stage.
When your heroes reach about Lv.8-10, you can try to challenge Lv.3 territories: Ore, Stone, Wood, Farm. The Defending Troops are Lv.10. It is recommended to occupy every kind of these territories, and repeatedly attack until the troop level reaches about Lv.14-16.
When your troop is at Lv.14-16, you can try to attack Lv.4 territories. On the first day, because the server is in the Peaceful Age, so the troop level limit is 20. When the troop reaches Lv.20, players then are able to make further territorial expansion.
Note: When there are no unoccupied territories within attack range, you can gain experience by repeatedly attacking occupied territories by " Clear Territory ".
The more troops you build, the more benefits you can earn in the early stage. It is recommended to train at least 2 troops at the same time in the early stage. The more troops, the more powerful your siege. Leveling up multiple troops as soon as possible to help early stage exploration and territory expansion.
Ⅱ. Rapid Territory Expansion
First of all, you need to understand that in addition to the main city in the game, you also need to occupy the towns, villages, territories and other buildings. Apart from the common resource buildings such as Farm (common resource building is a kind of territory), there are many special resource buildings in the game. But most players will not be able to see or capture them on the first day. Players should capture common resource buildings quickly. In this way, players can quickly increase the hero level, and the resource production in the main city.
When your troop reaches Lv.16-20, you can try to attack and occupy "unoccupied" cities. An unoccupied city is usually Lv.1, and the defender troop is Lv.18. As shown below:
Occupying a city needs two steps:
1) Clearing the city defenders.
2) Attacking the city until the city durability decrease to 0.
When you attack an unoccupied city, the city's floating information displays the refreshing countdown of the main city's defenders and the number of remaining defenders. Generally, an unoccupied city of Lv.1 can be occupied by a Lv.18 troop.
Ⅲ. Level Up Your Buildings and Lord.
Basic knowledge:
The most important personal unit in this game is the main city. Upgrading of the building in the main city will bring a lot of gains to the player, and much of the player’s operations every day are basically carried out under the main city.
The main city in the game will not be occupied. When the durability is 0, it will be lifted off. After that, players need to re-select the landing point, and the building under construction will be interrupted.
Town is an important unit that can provide resource bonus to the main city besides itself. Any unoccupied city will be converted into a town after being occupied by the player, and the construction in the town can be carried out only then. In the town, the operation is basically the same as that of the main city, except that it is not possible to build Mansion, Market and Resource Territory.
Village is player's basic city unit. When the number of towns reach the limit, other occupied city will be converted into villages.
Towns and villages can be converted into each other freely. Players can also turn any town or village into a main city.
Note: The bonus to the main city will disappear when a town is converted to a village or the main city is re-located, and the resources of the town will be temporarily frozen.
Features of Main City Buildings:
Castle: Determines max building level in city and basic tax.
Command Hall: Upgrading it may increase the limit of various Reservists. Upgrade the Command Hall in Main City to increase heroes' extra soldier limits.
Drill Ground: Upgrading the Drill Ground may increase the maximum number of the troops in the city.
Taverns: A place to recruit heroes. Upgrading Taverns reduces the interval between recruitments.
Infantry, Cavalry, Archer Training Camp: The places to recruit Infantry, Cavalry, Archer. Level limit determines soldiers recruited at a time.
Food Workshop, Stone Mill, Wood Factory: The level respectively increases the quantity of supply output and the quantity of centralized production in the city.
Warehouse: Upgrading Warehouse can increase the city's resource storage limit.
Tax Office: Upgrading Tax Offices increases silver coins acquired in one taxation.
Market: A place to bug, exchange resources and Reservists.
Tower: Upgrading Tower increases Defender Attack.
City Wall: City Wall may increase the Durability of the city.
Trap: Traps will increase an attacking unit's dead soldier conversion rate.
Farm, Mine, Quarry, Lumber Mill: Upgrading them increases production of the corresponding resources in the city.
Mansion: Related to Civilian. Unlocked when Castle reaches Lv.10.
First day players are supposed to increase the level of Castle as soon as possible, and of Command Hall, Drill Ground, Tavern, Warehouse, Training Camp, and other buildings in order.
