You know that Genshin is not flawless. It is monotonous and feels unjust, both in terms of gameplay and from the standpoint of the developer towards the community. Although such games may initially appear enjoyable, they quickly devolve into unending grinds and incorporate predatory Gacha elements that fail to provide the player with much of a sense of reward. Crystal Atlan's trajectory appears to be favorable. It is Genshin, minus the tedious grinding, the Gacha, and the eventual incapacity to continue playing. You may continue playing indefinitely; however, your time is restricted by the story's progression. That is, you are permitted to continue enjoying all other content once your daily quota has been met. I really hope that they continue down this path.

There'll never be a genshin killer. No amount of gameplay or play style can compare to the lore and depth of genshin. Genshin Impact is no longer a game, it's a worldwide sensation, it's the pinnacle of Anime RPG

Nothing lasts forever, as you grow older you will drop off and the game will die for you, but they always make changes to captivate newer audiences to keep the game "alive." But you as a player will have moved on to different things.

Instead of using genshin's name to try and draw attention to the game, maybe just stick to talking about the new game only? Everyone who uses "genshin killer" is bound to be a complete failure. Creators like to shit on genshin for clout. All games have flaws. Congratulations, you realized that nothing is perfect! Having gacha does NOT make genshin p2w. Most patches for f2p gets you to soft pity for a 5 star. There is no powercreep and there is no NEED for any characters. You don't even understand what people p2w means and you don't understand what fomo is because all characters have reruns with plenty time between to save. Stop crafting your entire review around another game because it says more about you than it does the new game AND genshin.

I wouldn't say you're really drawing much from this comment. Genshin Impact is a P2W game, though there is no competitive elements and there is no REQUIREMENTS to pay in order to win or beat it, the option to pay and conquer the game is present. Opinions vary from person to person. Regarding my emotions, I never attempt to conceal them in a review because I am upfront. I have played Genshin. I have played Fortnite. Thousands of games have been played by me personally every single day over the last 15 years (and not just for 10 seconds or minutes, but for many hours) that are regarded as extremely entertaining. While my review towards some are mostly negative; this merely represents my perspective as a player and not as a diehard devotee. I clarify the situation and emphasize that. Just like some of you in the comments object to my opinion. I object to yours. This is all perfectly fine, but we are all allowed to have our opinions.

don't call it genshin killer that's disrespectful to the devs that make the game that opens this kind of genre on mobile sometimes i don't understand why some of these streamers do complain when they doesn't even know how hard to create a game then all they do is play it and say bad things to the game because a new game is coming and they have bad experience on genshin most commonly being p2w you know all players has option to not avail but they will still avail then the fault is not on devs or the game but the players choices so don't bad mouth games just learn how to appreciate things and be happy that you have a game to enjoy

Genshin Impact is "good", but it's not perfect. Most P2W features are less about the money aspect an just the general fear of missing out on the content because you didn't want to spend money. The same is true for general MMOs like Runescape, Guild Wars 2, and so on. The FOMO element here is absent, which makes it much more enjoyable.

No, Genshin is long dead and only has a fraction of players left. Genshin just exists, but nothing more. I played for a long time, but over time there were fewer and fewer players. I took a look again 2 weeks ago and lo and behold, the game was dead.

Genshin is a P2W? Win against what? Theres no pvp, no leader board, and you can even stay in the game just using a free 4 star characters, there's no such gatekeeping to continue the game even you not spending any dime for the gacha either characters or weapon. Have you ever really play a P2W game that have a VIP content?

People are always yapping about p2w without knowing what it means. Op has apparently played thousands of games as well. Sounds to me like the usual " genshin is gonna be dethroned" that happens every time a new game is about to drop. Remember tof?

This argument is flawed, first of all the game seems more of a ToF competitor than a Genshin one, people said ToF would kill Genshin and yet it didn’t do much to flicker it past the 1 week mark of its arrival. Now ToF is making 500-700k a month while Genshin still making Millions in revenue. This game will be fun for a duration but it wont kill anything, you are obviously using the title as a “click bait” which is fine… interaction is still interaction i suppose.

the term "genshin killer" is so ridiculous. Genshin was a game changer, whether you liked it or not. Even if another game comes along and brings something new to the table, or even manages to push things further in the game industry, like genshin did, it won't "kill" mihoyo's work and success... "Genshin killer" is just a stupid term used to hype up other games.

i'm f2p player on genshin i have many limited 5star characters and 5s weapon i got them by my effort and about spending money is optional they don't force you to spend its up to you so stop spreading misinformation
