The v1.1.5 midseason is here! Take a look at all the new stuff that released in game today!
Hide and Seek (Perk):
Start the game with a token. Tokens are capped at 1 and do not recharge. Consume a token while in chase to yell "It's you and me.", taking you and the killer to a different map. You and the killer will be in that dimension for 15 seconds. If you survive the timer, teleport you and the killer back into the match and stun the killer for 10 seconds and heal yourself back to maximum HP. If you die during the timer, the killer is teleported back into the map and all survivors are revealed by a firework, and you are placed in a tube.
Tyler Beck is an Assault survivor able to risk his own life to stun the killer. He is our first survivor with a built in (potential) debuff to his team, but has an amazing output of pressure against the killer when used correctly. We hope that in adding Tyler Beck, we increase the power diversity in our game while also catching up with the amount of Assault survivors we have in game (because there's none)
A new parkour has been added next to the original parkour! This new parkour is much more tough, with increased cobblestone walls, lightning rods, end rods, and other hard to reach objects. Earn 5 shards for completing this new parkour with the same daily limit!
As for the original parkour, the upside down stair has been changed to a slab, so players who mastered the original parkour can no longer farm crystals easier (or at least for some time)
We also nerfed the amount of crystals rewarded for completing the old parkour from 10 to 5. Sorry not sorry
The New Year's 2024 event is live in game! Complete New Year's challenges to get Firework Tokens that can be spent on new year's limiteds, with the highest rarity being legendary.
Redeemable codes are back! Some codes can be found in game, but most are only located via the Discord server. Redeem codes for specified rewards by DMing KITO the exact code.
Character Mastery is our newest feature added to NIGHTFALL! Character mastery is improved from the last time, this time being logged on a private app (ask to know your character mastery) complete the Mastery Road for each character to get rewards and eventually their mythic item after completing it!
Mastery Tokens are private currencies introduced as well used to progress the Mastery Road. The amount of mastery tokens obtained from games is half the amount of XP you earned playing as a character. Mastery Tokens go directly into the character you played's mastery road.
We flagged down some issues with Graveyard ahead of putting the map in ranked. We noticed that survivor players have identified an issue where they can complete an outside generator from an upstairs vault in the main building, and abuse of the cabin roofs and mangrove trees.
We have moved the vault just out of reach for completing the generator, and there are now barriers on the tops of every tree and cabin.
A tough decision has been made to nerf generators for survivors. Recently, escapes have been at an all time high. Although the current 3 block generator is a buff to killers when facing new survivors, but a nerf to new killers and a buff to experienced survivors, the game is centered around trial and error and not every game will be won. Effective this update, generators now require FOUR blocks to be completed on every map.

New update, new character balancing! After we released Tombs of Torment on December 19, which brought The Necromancer and Alana Rion, we also made The Scientist a paid killer. We had to replace him with a new free killer which is The Heartless. We identified some issues and have made the necessary balancing changes to improve gameplay for everyone when playing as or against these characters.
The Heartless is receiving a slight buff to her Blood Moon. Previously, the duration of Blood Moon was 8 seconds and the damage was 6 HP.
Effective this update, the duration is now 10 seconds, and her damage is now 12 HP per potion. Better hide!
We are slightly nerfing The Necromancer's Undead Summons background effects. Instead of the game starting at Midnight, we are changing the daylight time to Night, making it a bit brighter so zombies are easier to see but still keeping the pressuring vibe (and the zombies alive.)
Instead of spawning 3 zombies, The Necromancer will now only spawn 2 upon the use of Undead Summons. But, to compensate for the change, there is only going to be ONE chest containing a sword to fight back at the zombies.
A slight nerf was administered to Billy Nelson to make him more fair and fun to play against in gameplay. Since he is a free character and is frequently chosen, players have found ways on certain maps to abuse his power by blocking off the full entry way into main building for example and completing the generator inside with no way of being damaged. Since the killer couldn't break Billy's blocks to prevent that, we are nerfing Billy in hopes to prevent illegal play while still giving him enough power to be useful.
Effective this update, Billy Nelson's mossy cobblestone can now be destroyed by teammates and the killer.
Tyler Beck will not be available in Ranked until January 19, 15 days after his release. This should be enough time to identify and make any changes needed to keep him a balanced character before putting him in graded modes.
And now, here are the changes to every character ahead of putting them in Ranked:
We have found no changes needed for Alana Rion or Killer PvP.

FIRST TEASER: The new Killer is a Mobility who originates from Turkey. The new Survivor is a Support who originates from Japan with Spanish relatives.
For a new lifetime change, since we have our plans laid out for every season up until after Season 9, effective Season 10 and beyond, all seasons will be exactly 56 days instead of the ambiguous "in between 40 and 48). The 56 day change allows for exactly 14 days of each challenge collection (4) and gives players more than enough time to complete 20 tiers.
