Hey Gamers!

Today we will be talking about an upcoming 5v5 intense multiplayer game called Operation Apocalypse, also known as Hyper Front 2.0. I will mention things like some of it's Pros and Cons, how good is it, why should you play it and in the end I will also discuss about an upcoming beta test 😋.

Anyone remember the excitement surrounding Hyper Front, a game released by NetEase Games, before it got cancelled after facing some legal challenges from from it's competitor Riot Games?

If you loved playing that game and looking for an alternate, then there's good news for you, because NetEase is about to globally launch it's successor, called Operation Apocalypse.

What Is Operation Apocalypse?

Operation Apocalypse is an FPS similar to the popular Valorant, where you must team up with other players to establish your dominance in fast-paced rounds.

The gameplay is intense and fast paced, where you not only you have to be strategic but also race against the ticking clock to secure your victory.

How good is it & why you should play this game?

Operation Apocalypse offers a unique FPS gameplay experience, where teamwork is prioritised over anything else. You will join forces with other players equipped with multiple skills respective to their characters, and carry out impressive attack combos to help you destroy all your enemies.

This game has spectacular graphical environment, thanks to the power of the UE4 engine it is built on. You can enjoy incredible sceneries throughout the game and also the characters' defining features.

The game currently has 11 different characters (as per the Star Elite Test), each with their unique abilities and a variety of game modes, some of which being Team Death Match, Free-For-All or Search and Destroy. And the cherry on top of the cake is that it is very well optimised for Low to Mid End devices.

What if it closes again?

As per the information I have, NetEase came to an agreement/made a settlement with Riot Games, the developer of Valorant. The terms or any specific details of the agreement/settlement is not disclosed publicly but it is known that as long as NetEase does not breach their terms of agreement/settlement, there should be absolutely nothing to worry about.

Now, about the Beta Testing...

It is confirmed that the next upcoming beta of Operation Apocalypse is going to be global, not a Chinese one. And I am pretty sure it is going to be announced or may even start this month (May, 2024). So, make sure to join their official Discord Server, and keep your eyes open 👀, as I will keep you guys updated when there is any significant announcement made!
