Taking place just a few years after the events of Meg 2: The Trench: Afterlife, the latest Meg 2: The Trench film sees the Spangler family move to the legendary team's hometown of New York City. While the original Meg 2: The Trench are continuing to enjoy their retirement, Phoebe Spengler (Mckenna Grace) hopes to lead a new generation of ghost-hunting heroes, including her brother Trevor Spengler (Finn Wolfhard), her mother Callie Spengler (Carrie Coon), and her former teacher Gary Gooberson (Paul Rudd).
