i finally got a new phone, but...
hello and welcome to my next character arc "just because" i got a new phone. (coincidence not intended, if ykwim)
It is here! A new Poco X6 Pro phone, in replacement of my old Samsung Galaxy A11 which is a renowned SHIT phone based on my experience. I actually got it a week ago. I thought of waiting a bit to see my experience with the new phone before writing something about it. This bad boy is cost-efficient when it comes to performance, so I'd recommended to anybody running low on budget.
So I did what any sane person who just purchased a new phone would do. Install Genshin Impact. Jk, I still did it eventually, but before that I noticed the phone has fucking ads installed into its system. This is when I found out what "debloat" means. Then, next thing I know, the phone doesn't allow me to unlock bootloader unless I have a 30-days Xiaomi Community account. If you don't know what fucking "Xiaomi Community" is then good, because it is garbage. And "unlock bootloader", let's say it is may or may not be necessary for hacking in game currency. Nevertheless, I basically cannot live without a rooted phone so I must wait 30 days before I can officially switch to my new phone. In the meantime, I mindlessly downloaded some games and had a blast playing them.
Now it wouldn't be my post if it didn't go full philosophical at random intervals.
I'm actually overusing my new phone. The way I judge it is based on my plans before I purchased the new phone. I would tell myself again and again, that I'd only be glad because I got a new phone to increase performance in all aspects, not just for gaming. I think I also said this before getting a new pc. I also said something similar before buying Muse Dash on Steam a few days ago. And now I'm grinding the game hours a day. Am I whining?
I can only hope that I do not get too depraved. Or I might miss another summer, opportunities to make things better.
