I played and am currently playing this game, so let's get this over with.
"I love the combat, the animations are. This game is awesome, I love it" -Some random guy from a Honkai Star Rail ad
When I saw this game I thought to myself: "Damn it looks good" and knew the internet artists were working with this but other than that I thought the animations were pretty expressive (except the jiggle physics, I'd say they're exaggerated) and they ARE expressive. The combat is also pretty good and reminds me to DMC Peak Of Combat.
The art isn't a lot different than other Hoyoverse games, but there are sections where it looks like you're reading a manga, so that's also pretty good.
The only downside I can see is THE 110GB ON PC (which compresses into 55~GB) AND 20GB ON THE APP STORE.
All in all, I DO recommend this game, especially if you're a fan of games with fast-paced combat, but it's still in development and it released days ago, so we'll have to see what Hoyoverse throws at us in the future of ZZZ
