What an Absolute Letdown.
First of all for a Non-Openworld Game that just launched the game size in mobile (20GB) and PC (110GB) is ridiculously BIG, I plan to play this game as a side game when I take breaks from my main game but turns out this game wants to be the main game, I can install my main game almost 3 times with this ones storage requirement. Oh but theres more to get dissapointed, in the stream and ads they highlight the fights, music, story thats fine coz they do look good the 1st time u see them but they specifically left out the TV section, in which in this game is like most of what you see all the time! These TV movements are your main navigation, 80%+ of all the modes in the game have it and the loading, dialogues not related to the main story are just unnecessary its daunting very repetitive and burns you out. The Gacha rates is also horrible coz they use the same gacha system as that game that could never where if ur unlucky youll need 250pulls again to get the limited character, partner that with bread crumbs of rewards for back and forth long errand type quest and the hoyo experience is complete. Also for a game launch standard banner selector youll need to use 300 pulls? OMG! you might play for 2-3 months and still not be done with it, whats this star rail? btw took me 4 months to get that coz i wont waste jades to intentionally pull on that. So Wanna whale for a char that you only see inside the fight before doing TV movements? you can't even use them in towns to take a stroll! Or do you wanna spend tons of money on a signature ORB that doesnt even appear on your char? Say no more and join this Hell, also this game is a F-Bait based on the CCs and my hardcore friends that are into it but even them find this game lacking.
Pls dont compare this disaster to WuWa that game's combat system is God Tier for me, in zzz I hate the forced swapping mechanic it gives me headache, you rarely use ultimate coz the whole team shares that single ultimate icon in which will be consumed by that 1 char u used it upon and the oh so slow charge up time makes it truly horrible, lastly the incessant left mouse clicking normal atk in every combat haunts me, those who played for 50hrs+ knows what im talking about, seriously i didnt signed up for a clicker game.
Another thing hoyo wachamalat they call themselves are criticized in making useless MCs that even if u build it, its weak and a waste of resources and time, they sometimes weasel out by making their MC a "good" Support.. Well they leveled it up by making the MC in this game the Navigation Team, wow truly game changing, sometimes im asking myself is there a need for them to even be here? The MC's here feels like side characters NGL and that's just sad, I feel bad for my cute Belle and her messy room. The Ingame music is a banger, EN VA's did an amazing job too, but all in all this game is just not that worth it.
Even if you didnt know any of the things ive said just now, the size alone for this type of game is definitely a Red Flag and yeah this is hoyo were talking about, the company that made that game that could never, with all the awards, money they have aquired and years to give that game a chance to truly improve and listen to its playerbase, they never did, like another guy ive read said they just became lazy, complacent coz they have no competitors and thinks anything they throw to the players will bite it and go crazy about it. They cant keep getting away with this. Pls think carefully if these ppl behind these games are truly the ones you like to support, coz at this point.. this is just too ridiculous and ive had enough. I didnt include the technical stuffs, experience those crashing and bugs for yourself and I hope that at the end of the day u still have a good day.
Would I continue playing this game? ...
