A typical P2W game

Exactly. But it's not "typical P2W" in the sense it doesn't give F2P users any decent characters. In fact, you can obtain any character as an F2P. Rather it's P2W because of few EXTREMELY power crept meta characters that dominate the entire game. If you don't own those characters or haven't put them in your main team, then you can bid goodbye to your PvP luck by other competitors who have them. These heroes are Empress, Nuwa, Ghost Lord, Mulan, White Snake and 1 or 2 more. I have all these heroes, but I'm a free user. Anyone who whales on these mentioned heroes will easily go up on top of ladder. Team power is a big joke in this game it you don't have those heroes deployed in your team. Also, these meta units have certain items which are locked behind pay wall which you can't get or upgrade without spending, and such exclusive items significantly boost the performance of mentioned meta heroes. The devs intentionally did all these so people spend brainlessly in the game and F2P users turn into a punching bag for anybody in PvP who spends. In short, the devs of this game do not care about free user community in the slightest bit. The original Heroes of Crown FAILED, and this remake version of Heroes of Crown Legends will also run out of business in a matter of less than 1 year time ~
