There is so much here that is both distinct and borrowed from other games. It's not often that you see the genre of typing combined with dungeon crawling, exploration, and combat. It all works so well which is very surprising with the fantastic visual expressions, and you also have a huge list of phrases and dialog that you can use to converse with the narrator at any point, you'd be astonished how many lines of dialogue they managed to pack into this experience which was all hand crafted. Many assume that it was created using AI, but in actuality, the developers sat down and attempted to think up every possible conversation you might type and simply added in a response or secret interaction. I definitely see how the visuals seem robotic, but all in all it's a uniquely human created experience.
