Seven Deadly Sins: Idel (Review)

The game is made by Netmarble the same devs that made Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross and is making Seven Deadly Sins: Origins.
This game is a bit different since it is an Idel game that mostly plays itself when you are not using the app to gather resources for you.
👍 Pros:
1. The graphics are decent and colorful and the characters design is cute and appealing.
2. The game is extremely simple and somewhat easy to play and understand.
3. The game is “Generous” to new players.
4. There are plenty of progression rewards.
👎 Cons:
1. The gameplay loop becomes repetitive as well as the missions to complete after a short while.
2. The micro-transactions are PLENTIFUL! And feel like they are taking over the gameplay aspects of the game, some aspect are even locked behind a paywall to “unlock faster” than other players.
> The game pop-up show up too often, prompting the player to buy packs and see ads constantly.
> I have counted 7+ “battle passes” to purchase that all might seem to offer different rewards but in other games these rewards all would be in one battlePass.
3. The game seems generous at fist but slows down extremely as the “pvp” aspects open and becomes P2W afterwards, this is shown when going against other players and trying to unlock stuff.
5. The Limited Banner is locked behind a paywall or a LONG! Process that requires you to pull on the standard banner until you reach summon level 6 (thousands of pulls are required to reach it) even with the games “generosity” it still takes quite a while to reach for a casual/ f2p player.
💖 Overall Experience:
I believe the game is fun to play from time to time as a time waster, but i would not recommend being too invested in it (money or time), it is deceptively time consuming and will push micro-transactions in your face any chance it gets without shame, including (PAY TO REMOVE ADS!!!).
I wouldn’t expect much from Netmarble (i like their games but they are usually always p2w) and a simple game as this, so i’ll say that the gameplay is fun and addictive but the game overall will not be fun or fair for f2p after a week or so due to the power gap, it is an idel gacha after all.
