【Must-Read for Newbies】 Essential Survival Guide for Day One of Earth: Revival’s Open Beta!

Translate
Good morning, afternoon, and evening, Survivors! To help you quickly adapt to life on this new planet, Niya has invited an experienced survival mentor—DreamQian from the SpecOps team! She’ll walk you through the must-know survival tips for your first day in Earth: Revival. Let's give her a warm welcome!
Hello everyone, I’m DreamQian. On the first day of Earth: Revival’s Open Beta, you’ll awaken from your cryo-chamber as a member of the “Ember Project” and step into the year 2112... A world where alien invasions and spreading crises are the new normal. In this unfamiliar environment, your primary goal is simple—survive.Dive into this “Survival Handbook,” and it’ll be your best companion as you navigate this strange new world!
【How to Level Up Quickly】
After completing the prologue and undergoing a series of survival training exercises at your island estate, you'll head to Douga Valley to finish the initial main storyline. But suddenly, the main quest seems to have... paused?! Σ(⊙▽⊙"a~?You might find yourself standing at the entrance of Douga Shelter, freshly at level 10, feeling a bit lost and unsure of what to do next…
No need to worry! There are so many ways to rack up experience that you'll lose count—leveling up is a breeze:
1、(Priority) Open the newly unlocked Schedule System (top right corner). Dungeons, challenges, recruiting missions, quizzes, and various casual activities all provide loads of experience.
2、Explore the different areas of Duga Valley at your own pace. Pick up side quests (look for NPCs with exclamation marks above their heads) and encounter random events—they’ll reward you with experience points too.
3、And here’s an even more "straightforward" method—Fight! Fight! Fight!!! Slash! Slash! Slash!!!   That’s right! In *Earth: Revival*, even gathering resources and slaying enemies will net you experience points. With this method, you can quickly level up to 14 (the day one cap). Use the resources you gather to craft gear at home, gear up, and then join your squad for dungeons. You'll be the top DPS in no time!
【What to Do After Reaching Level 14 on Day One】
Leveling up isn’t the main focus of *Earth: Revival*. Once you've easily maxed out your daily XP, the real adventure begins:
1、Explore the map to uncover hidden treasures, complete fun timed challenges, and take on regional commission quests.
2、Tour Duga Valley, capturing beautiful landscapes (snap the right spots to earn collection rewards).
3、Unlock your personal logging site in the valley, which will continually produce survival materials for you.
4、Build and decorate your free manor—customize furniture and more! On day two, an 8-player artificial island will open, so gather your friends and start your shared living adventure.
5、Push your limits! Race against other survivors or challenge yourself in higher levels of the Virtual Battlefield.
6、Dive into competitive gameplay—take on Elite Battlefield and experience the thrill of 16v16 objective-based combat.
【Too Many Options? Here’s How to Choose】
By now, survivors might be wondering↓↓↓
● Don’t want to grind through every task but worried about falling behind in power?
—The Dawn Badge system has got you covered!
● No time to join time-limited events?
—The Dawn Badge system still has you covered!!
● Prefer to avoid combat and just want to chill without competitive modes?
—The Dawn Badge system will always have you covered!!!
To help survivors protect their time and choose gameplay that suits their style, Earth: Revival introduces the versatile Dawn Badge system. Simply focus on select activities, and you’ll earn most of the daily rewards, keeping pace with other players with ease!
Tip: The Dawn Badge has a weekly cap of 17,000 points, which can be carried over to the next week. Completing all daily activities nets around 6,000 points, with even more available from main quests, side quests, exploration, and weekly tasks. It’s a breeze to max out your badges!
【How to Find Survival Buddies】
The social features in Earth: Revival are rich and diverse. On launch day, you can join a guild and start co-building with roommates, and by Day 2, the Artificial Island will be ready to house up to 4 estates.
But for those lone survivors who find themselves in this futuristic world, finding like-minded friends might be your top priority. Luckily, with advanced technology, it’s easier than ever to connect:
1、Chat freely in the world channel to meet other survivors and make new friends.
2、Leave a message using the Thermos Inscription system, or check out what others have written (rumor has it that some kind survivors mark treasure locations!).
3、Dive into the Star Ferry space (access via the micro-client) to interact with other survivors and share in-game and real-life stories.
4、Visit the player community (also via the micro-client) to join topic discussions and exchange game tips and strategies.
【Unlock More Survival Tips】
1、Keep Yourself Full: In the early game, you can't plant crops or fish yet, but you can forage for berries and seashells to make food. Defeating monsters may also drop meat. Additionally, the Duga Sanctuary’s commercial street sells a limited amount of ingredients daily—purchase them with Alliance Points.
2、Stuck in a Jam? Use the "unstuck" feature in the main menu to free yourself from tricky situations.
3、Need Help? Try the Star Wave Assistant (click the Star Wave icon in the micro-client). The navigation assistance section offers a convenient platform for exchanging information with others (word has it that helpful survivors can earn rewards here!).
4、Rest to Recover: Lying down on a bed slowly restores health and wellness, helping you save on medical supplies.
5、Scavenge Smart: Scavenging resources are scarce in the wild but more abundant in towns (look for the nut icon on the mini-map). For example, you can find chips, screws, and zippers in Duga Sanctuary.
6、Fruit Skewers: The side quest at the western bridge of Duga Sanctuary requires fruit skewers. Combine 1 meat and 1 fruit at the Manor's cooking station to make them.
7、Armor Upgrades: Some gear slots won't unlock on Day 1, but you can still enhance the plating level on those slots to boost your stats.
8、Treasure Chests: There are two exploration chests on Lakeside Island—one in the western area and one in the southeast corner. Be sure to grab them before you leave the island.
Master these survival tips, and you'll be blazing through the future world in no time. More gameplay tips are coming soon, so be sure to like and follow!
