An artificial intelligence with human features
📖 Storyline: Earth dominated by large corporations, with the hope of conquering new worlds, they began to exploit artificial intelligence in the form of humans equipped with quantum brains with small nuclear fusion generators to work autonomously in space, a difficult environment for humans to survive! Humanoids that looked almost indistinguishable from humans, the days of perseverance on Mars were far away! They soon replaced all human jobs and human society changed radically just like when smartphones were distributed in the old world. Meanwhile, in deep space, corporations built a huge orbital ring inside which water and flora can be seen, plus an elevator that can transport goods between earth and space efficiently and cheaply without the use of rockets. Here the humanoids begin to rebel against the main system that dominates the orbital base, and soon the humans, alone in deep, sidereal space, will come into conflict with AI, which wants them all as subjects, in order to gain freedom.
🎮 Gameplay: After the suggestive intro of the orbital ring to the "2001 space odyssey" we will have a humanoid named Katy, soon others will follow each with their own abilities:
1. Kati: Omega's daughter, can hack all devices in a short time, the original purpose is software programming;
2. Rocco: Daughter of the genius, who causes the failure of all devices, accidentally exploded involuntarily, the original purpose is debugging;
3. Tasca: Heavy equipment manager, can disassemble heavy equipment and attach it to his body;
4. Valkyrie: manages the turret;
5. Genshio: Base manager, can access all systems in the base;
6. Rodesamar: Sub-frame, the second most powerful person in the worldview, Odessa's boyfriend;
7. Amadeus: Gatekeeper, accesses all doors or isolates enemies in a specific area
8. Odessa: Repairs all equipment and can be repaired and modified, as well as Katy's teacher, body designed as an incubator;
9. Zukang: It is the destroyer of all systems, a kind of malware
10. Metella: Engineer, responsible for designing the device, an agile female body;
11. Omega: It is a formless being, similar to a God, a composite of 12 billion central quantum brains that have copied the brains of 12 billion people on Earth;
12. Genius: Designed to manage time and inhabit the uncertainty systems to undermine Katy in the atmosphere;
As I said we will control Katy who, on the orbital base, will search for rudimentary computers to deactivate them and unlock huge doors that allow access to other areas. We will have a fairly rudimentary laser gun at our disposal, be careful of the humanoid battery after a couple of km it will have to be recharged in special capsules scattered around the scenarios. Most of the time we will wander aimlessly. There is no map but only red lines on the floor. These will indicate the door to open corresponding to a computer that will have to be sabotaged so much that the lines will turn green giving access to new areas. Once opened we will find both new characters to unlock as well as the deadly ED-909, seen in the cult TV series Robocop, who at the sight of us will do everything to disintegrate us! We should, during the escape, remember in which area there was the humanoid suitable to face them! Furthermore, it is possible to defeat the enemy using the hands and feet (to throw objects) or use other humanoids equipped with a liquid metal blade, electron beams etc. alternatively also fight on a giant robot. It allows, if connected to the internet, in multiplayer up to 4vs4 or continue, without internet, in the story mode. It's a pure action without the unnerving wandering of survival without a plot. We often meet robot teddy bears (it reminds me of the horror film: Imaginary) but I didn't really understand what role they have... I'll tell you later.
🕹️ Controls: The character is well made in third person (it looks a lot like Protocol on ps5) and the d-pads are the classic ones on the screen. There are two game modes: Normal mode and/or Pirate Mode (against drones and infested ships). we can kick cans against elementary robots and make them explode with our vast arsenal. The only flaw: It is not clear where the d-pad is, placed on the right, to turn around so much so that we will often shoot into the void without wanting to!
🎨 Graphics: If they had dedicated more time to the textures of the environments it would have been a masterpiece equal to Earth Revival (which with regret I noticed is more of a Survival than an action). The environments are vast and the clashes frenetic. The spaceships that pass over our heads are very well made, created in the smallest details. The explosions are state of the art for a sci-fi mobile title. The sound is equally so.
🇮🇹 Personal Considerations: I am always very skeptical and critical with mobile titles, but this time we are in the presence of an action-adventure masterpiece that went unnoticed; if I had not accepted a friend request from a taptap user I would never have imagined such a masterpiece existed! Download it only if you love a compelling plot that deals with current generative artificial intelligence tools that, despite being a game, makes you understand how useful it can be in many social and productive contexts, but its malicious use can create potential damage of which not all the possible effects are yet known exactly.. it would certainly unleash, in the workplace, social revolutions because remember the power of AI systems, if badly directed, could become very dangerous! And I'm not talking about the risk of killer robots roaming around our cities shooting at anyone, but of "bad uses", more subtle and equally dangerous, of applications already existing today.
