Honest Review of Jump Assemble
Pros
* Playable Characters from Popular Manga (eg. Dragonball, One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, JJK, Hunter) which is the biggest pro over other MOBAs like MLBB
* Good Voice Acting (I think they use the same Japanese voice acting from the anime)
* Decent Graphics (The characters and skills like Kamekameha and Rasengan are instantly recognizable)
Cons
* Language Barrier (Most players are Chinese as the game is launched in Hongkong. If you are English player, you will have difficulty communicating with your teammates.)
* OP Characters are locked behind paywall (It take forever to unlock them unless you buy the in-game currencies to unlock them. If you play for free, you can only try your luck at the gatcha, which has low probability of success. But I was lucky to draw Ichigo and Zoro using free diamonds.)
* Unbalanced Gameplay (eg. Killua able to one-shot marksman and mages with little skill. There seem to be no attempt to fix this unfair advantage. Often these characters are the same ones locked behind paywall. Maybe it is intentionally designed this way to make non-paying players so frustrated that they want to pay to even the odds.)
* Frustrating for Solo Ranking Players (Difficult to rank up if you are solo ranking, as most of the time you get matched with teammates who are same rank as you. But your opponent team all members one rank higher. Unless you can find a teammates who equal or better rank and skill as you, and play around the same time as you, it will be very difficult to rank up. You can play normal matches, but it gets boring fast because there is no sense of achievement)
* Serious Bugs (At the time of this writing, if all the team members buy and equip the "purple stone" support item, they get gold a lot faster). Most Chinese players exploit this bug. But it seem like some English players do not know of it and sometimes you will lose the match, because your teammate does not buy the item, even though you messaged them.
* AFK, Connection and other issues
I want to like this game. However, there seem to be more cons than pros at the moment. Unless you are a diehard Shonen Jump fan, I do not recommend this game.
