One Punch Man: World Review
One Punch Man: World is a fast-paced game as it has succeeded in preserving the true spirit of animes and mangas. Being a fan of the series I couldn’t help but dive right into the game due to the great graphics and smooth character animations that capture the essence of Saitama and other heroes. Gratuitous use of cartoonish art to depict scenes is retained and this actually offers colorful and lively scenes to the various encounters in the game.
The gameplay can be characterized with the elements of fast actions and strategizing. There are many interesting opportunities: you can control different character with gifts, and when using allTypeDefending bonuses, it’s very good to knock out the enemies with the help of Saitama one-punches. It only takes a little button mashing to pull of impressive looking combos and large damaging blows. There are also different modes apart from the campaign which make the gameplay unique and exciting they include; PvE, PvP.
However, it is not devoid of shortcomings, though, which I will be discussing in the subsequent section of this article. The first one is task redundancy: some of the missions seem to be repetitive and, thus, boring to accomplish after some time. Besides, the game features a number of characters, but in the same respect, the progression system is not very fast and may be quite a challenge to unlock one’s most favorite heroes. These phenomena could lead players to micropayments, and this is not very suitable for most players.
Despite these drawbacks, One Punch Man: Overall, there is much of the humor and the action, which one can associate with the worlds of World. The casting is indeed great; most original actors lend their voices for the animation so it makes cartoon appear more credible. On balance, this game is definitely worth a play by the lovers of this series, the chance to have a great time with the game and, at the same time, it has some drawbacks, starting with the unvaried types of the missions and ending with the pacing of the missions in the overall process.
