My Most Anticipated Collaboration for a Gaccha Game!

It's been over three months since we first got a teaser for the Arknights X Dungeon Meshi collaboration. After the teaser, I decided to check out the Dungeon Meshi anime and I am so glad I got introduced to this series. It is just a wonderful fantasy show with really good characterization & world building. Ever since then I have been eagerly awaiting for more details on the collaboration and now finally, they dropped a trailer for it!

(Keep in mind that this collaboration between Arknights & Dungeon Meshi will be first dropping on the CN servers. They will come to the Global Arknights servers in around 6 months as per usual)

New Operators

As can be observed from the trailer, the characters joining Arknights as playable Operators are Senshi, Chilchuck, Laios & Marcille.

There aren't many details on their kits at the moment but I can surmise a few things. Senshi is a Guardian Defender who specializes in being a mix between a tank and a healer. Chilchuck is a Agent Vanguard which is really fitting as their main goal is to be deployed in and out whether it be for deployment point generation and other supportive utilities. Laios is a Dreadnaught Guard that often plays the role of a bulky physical dueler. Lastly, Marcille is a Splash Caster which is fitting as their main role is doing AOE Arts (magic) damage & crowd control.

Will this come to Global Servers?

Yes. At this point, Arknights has had 2 major collaboration that were brought to the Global servers (not to mention all the mini collabs). We got the Arknights X Rainbow Six Siege collaboration back in 2021 and Arknights X Monster Hunter collaboration back in 2023. Also there is a second collaboration with Rainbow Six Siege a few weeks away on the Global servers.

So once again yes, this Dungeon Meshi collab will come to the global servers in 6 months time.

Is this Limited & What's the Gaccha like (F2P)?

Yes, these Operators are going to be limited. In fact, the community classifies them as "True Limited Operators" as unlike other non-collab Limited Operators in Arknights, they will not appear as an off-banner rate up or on the spark shop unless the Arknights X Dungeon Meshi collaboration re-runs which who knows when that might ever happen.

But fret not as getting these limited operators from collaborations are a lot easier than non-collab limited operators.

To get all the Collab Limited Operators, you only need 120 pulls in case you have terrible luck. The game will give you 20 pulls for free so you only need to farm 100 pulls to guarantee all the limited collab operators.

If you play Arknights, you will know how F2P friendly that is especially in comparison to the usual non-limited collab banners.

New Operator Outfits

Following the Arknights X Dungeon Meshi collaboration, we will also be getting outfits with a Fantasy theme for Marcille, Irene, Leizi and for Kroos alter.

This fantasy themed mage outfit with the classic giant mage hat for Marcille looks soo good!

I cannot express how excited I am for this collaboration. While I initially knew nothing about the series Dungeon Meshi, it is now one of my most favorite fantasy series and to see such a series do a collaboration with my favorite gaccha game is exhilarating!

Highly recommend giving the Dungeon Meshi anime a watch especially if your a fan of the Fantasy genre. The main cast is quite lovable with really good character development as well as some interesting world building. Not to mention all the ways in which they cook monster to survive delving through a perilous dungeon is actually really informative and entertaining.
