Impressive how close CarX Street is to a PC game
While it seems obvious how grindy CarX Street as a game is, we shouldn't take the same grain of salt and throw it to the PC version of its release. Being a paid game, CarX Street PC is a whole new experience, easier purchase, better starting car, raytraced graphic, and overall very playable game.
However the gameplay isn't what this post is about... Take a look on the video above. It's impressive how close CarX Street on Android is to CarX Street PC on visual fidelity. Little detail such as volumetric shadows on tire smokes are even present on mobile. The only thing missing is Ray Tracing on mobile, perhaps my Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 isn't allowed to do ray tracing on CarX, but if you can find the setting in your device, you might be the lucky few who own very beefy and toasty phone 😆.
Anyway, this bring down to optimizations. While I agree a good looking mobile games are a sought after products currently, being unplayable on phones below 700k AnTuTu V10 is just unacceptable! CarX Street is one of those games, along with Warzone Mobile. Have they tried to copy the optimizations on games like BombSquad? Which untill today I think the graphics are still quite magnificent and could run at phones with just 27k AnTuTu? Seriously it's 30x slower than a Snapdragon 870!
