First of all, the game really started where people wishes the game would fail. But made a come back and slap its haters. The game is really much like GI but a lot more better. I am a GI player since day one and I can really compare the game fairly and can see both game's flaws and strengths. This game is much more better in terms of map explorations, the game has a lot better and much fun combat experience and building characters in this game is more easier that you know who. Characters in this game specially its design, VO, and skills are great too. Well I love both characters in GI and Wuwa, so I dont want to be bias so its up to you to decide. The map is well ( depends on you which is better) Wuwa is more on post war style while genshin is a developed cities and terrains after the war 500yrs ago. In terms of story, well of course its not fair since Wuwa just started and GI's story is almost finish. Overall, The game is 11/10 and has potential to beat other contenders because the developers really love listening to its players and they love learning and keep improving, and thats what players wants to see in a developer.
