Dynasty Legend 2 Review: Epic Battles and Endless Action
Dynasty Legend 2 is a game that will provide the players with a great amount of fun if they are into hack and slash games. Based on the historical and fictional story of the Three Kingdoms period, players will have the opportunity to become the famous generals and directly command troops to fight against enemy offense lines. Combining action, tactics, and character advancement, the game forms a coherent and rather exciting concept.
Basically, the major action is the battles where one fights hundreds of enemies at one time. Especially the combat system is quite smooth and understandable here to make majestic combos and devastating skills. Nothing is better than having the ability to wipe out all the enemies on the screen just by one action. Having a variety of characters means that no matter how you want to play the game there is a character that suits you best; a fast character, a strong character, a magic character, etc.
There is a character upgrade system in the game which is perhaps one of the most attractive features of the game. During the advancement, one is able to open up and upgrade new skills, gears and abilities for the intended general making him/her even more powerful in the battlefield. As much as this progression system remains a handicap at some point it adds intensity to the game, every fight counts hence the effort.
As for the graphics, the character designs are well developed and the backgrounds depict fields of battle rather well, with all the confusion of a war zone. Each fighting scene is accompanied by special effects like explosions and energy attacks which makes the fight scenes appealing to the eyes. This is backed by sound where music especially when in battles and the noise of fighting weapons gives a real feel of the battles being waged.
Despite that Dynasty Legend 2 is strong in the aspects of combat and visuals, certain gamers might feel more tired with the missions and battles of the game after some time. Still, the non-stop movement and the fun that comes with promoting the level of your player is something that keeps the game mostly interesting.
In conclusion, Dynasty Legend 2 is a highly charged game that will be best suited for those who are interested in action, battle and fighting games.
