“Memento mori” is a Latin phrase meaning, “Remember that you must die.” Quite the appropriate phrase for the Halloween season, if I do say so myself. It’s an expression that inspires one to take action and avoid wasting the precious time that you have. It’s also the phrase used in the title of the highly anticipated MementoMori: AFKRPG, which, according to the developers, is “the first RPG to be spoken of in the history of fine art.” A lofty boast for a game based on a lofty concept. But is that sense of grandiosity earned?

While gameplay is quite typical for an AFK rpg, lvling heroes and wasting resourses to get dupes, visuals here are outstanding. Art is absolutely amazing, as well as music. (was blown away by Fortina's ost). Might even name it an arknights among afk games, l (in a meaning of investing on graph and music).

Brilliant art with individual character songs (the japanese singers are especially sugoi!!!). The story cut off halfway hopefully they update it along the way for the players to enjoy the stories in the stages. Each character also have their individual unique story. Remember this is an afk game so just relax and enjoy don't try to be too competetive. ₍˄·͈༝·͈˄*₎◞ ̑̑

I'm actually laughing hard at people who says the game is just some character animation with numbers flying here and there on the gameplay. It just means that a lot do not know or do not appreciate the concept of an auto-battling idle game.
I had played games of this genre and it's quite nostalgic. If you played the the very first League of Angels game before, then you know what an AFKRPG genre truly means. You grind with minimal effort for timegated resources, do some appreciation on graphics and music, saying hello in the chats, reading lores, etc.
