Recruit clerks, forge weapons, and save the world with your strategy and creativity! 【Action System】 The core gameplay revolves around the use of action points and cards. Each character has 12 action points that can be spent to perform actions in battle. The number of action points remaining will affect the duration of subsequent rounds. Players can choose to spend all of their action points at once to deal massive damage, or save some action points for more flexible movement and strategy. The choice is yours to make as you control the battle style of your characters. 【Weapon Deck】 Players can access a wide variety of weapon cards with unique powers, and use these cards to craft their own decks. Each card can be paired with different characters, allowing for a wide range of tactical possibilities and strategies. As players progress through the game, they can forge more weapon cards and continue to refine their decks, searching for the perfect combination of cards and characters to achieve victory. Deck building adds an extra layer of depth and customization to the gameplay, allowing players to truly make the game their own. 【Battlefield】 Non-grid battlefield allow players to devise strategies and tactics beyond the limitations of traditional grid-based gameplay. With the ability to move freely across the battlefield, players can use more precise and meticulous tactics to outmaneuver their foes and achieve victory. 【Boss Battle】 Zold:out features a range of unique bosses and monsters that have been carefully designed by the development team. Players will need to think strategically and adjust their tactics and teams to the characteristics of each boss in order to emerge victorious. Looks nice and fairly polished but I'm seriously disappointed in the gacha rates. It took me a full 180 recruits to get a 3☆ and that's only because of the pity system. I though ok.. maybe that was just bad luck but nooope; I proceeded to pull another 180 times before I got another 3☆ and yet again that's only due to a pity. I swear half the gacha games lie about rates because they can... a huge waste of money imo, although you can collect enough for a 10 pull maybe once a week depending on the event.

You ever play a great mobile game that's a ton of fun, but you just desperately wish it wasn't a gacha? That's how I feel about Zoldout. This game melds together tactical RPG combat with a really compelling card-based system. Think of it sort of like Marvel's Midnight Suns minus the superheroes and made to work on mobile.
If that sounds great, well, it is! And if this were the type of game where I could just play through it from start to finish, recruiting heroes, building relationships, and get a deadlier deck of cards to attack with, I'd relish that experience. Unfortunately, though, Zoldout has layered the traditional gacha system on top of that, complete with spending real money for pulls with poor drop rates and needing to take part in constant events to build up whatever currency and free pulls you can.
