New Role "The Shapeshifter" Will Be Added to Among Us
Among Us' next major update is coming soon, with the release time to be announced at a later date.
The new update will introduce a new role - The Shapeshifter, which allows players to change their appearance and disguise themselves as other Imposters.
Do keep in mind that shapeshifting only lasts for a limited amount of time (unless altered in the lobby settings). Also, it is possible that other Crewmates will see you midway through shapeshifting, and the shift will leave traces behind.
There are other adjustable gameplay options:
Probability: In the game lobby settings, you’ll be able to change the number and chance of an Impostor to have the Shapeshift ability. You can turn off the chance of having the Shapeshift role completely.

[/i]Shapeshift Duration: How long an Impostor stays shifted after they change.
Leave Shapeshifting Evidence: Whether or not there is physical evidence of a shapeshift being left in a room after the Impostor morphs.
