Legendary Star Studio first unveiled their post-apocalyptic creation in 2022 at the TGS Expo, and it is expected to be available on all platforms in 2023. In the distant future, the global economy is in shambles, and there is a violent conflict between humans and artificial intelligence. After the blinding glare of nuclear warfare, the world wakes to desolation and ruin. Years after the nuclear apocalypse, players leave the safety of the Vaults for the surface, where they find a completely unfamiliar and broken world. It is then up to the player to embark on a unique adventure into the ruined world to complete a task they are destined to fulfill. The music of Ashfall will be co-produced by Oscar winner and Hollywood score master Hans Zimmer, renowned composer Steve Mazzaro, and Fallout series music producer Inon Zur. This time, I'm sharing a short video, which has two main takeaways. The first is that we're almost done with the adjustments of weapon handling and recoil which are now very close to other mainstream games. It's just about where we want it with faster RPM and better stability, but we're still keeping the stronger recoil for a sense of authenticity. When players first start off in the game, some will get their hands on some weapon accessories like scopes, magazines, stocks, and more. The status of these accessories will affect the handling difficulty of a weapon, sometimes for better... sometimes for worse. By way of compensation, we'll be supplying a firepower multiplier to the accessories that make firing more difficult. It's such a wild design, I honestly love it! Hahahaha
