More"Eclipse" is my own unique concoction of a multitude of genres such as: Bullet Hell, Souls-Like, RPG, and Metroid-Vania. There is a vast world to explore, with 18 rings, 18 spells, and a handful of emotes to find. There is over 25 bosses to find and battle within the lands of Mondreich. Through these battles you will slowly learn more and more about the world around you, as well as your true purpose in this world. As you do in typical Metroid-Vanias, you will find abilities that allow you to explore the world more in depth, and face even harder challenges. In "Eclipse" there is a full movement system equipped with a dash mechanic that will allow you, the player, to mitigate any damage incoming. "Eclipse" also takes a deviation from the typical grindy elements found in most RPGs, as instead of killing enemies to level up, you kill them for the Spell-Based Combat Experience. The only way to surpass difficult enemies is to come up with new strategies in facing them, maybe change up your spells, or equipped rings? The further you delve into the story of the Eclipse, the more mechanical skill will be required to fend off difficult bosses and puzzles. "Eclipse" features some helpful accessibility settings like Custom keyboard controls, Controller support, Turning off camera shake, and turning off the HUD. Hunt through the lands of Mondreich, find a cure for you infection, and seek salvation in "Eclipse."
