This is an amazing classic single player turned-based RPG. If you like DnD you might like this too. Not just that, the lore behind it is really good. It also has some unique art and music too.
You can do some bounties for extra money. Unlock and upgrade skills and spells. Gathering some equipments and upgrading your stats. Also have pets that you can choose at the beginning of the game, and you can change it if you want to. And you can also select character background at the start (permanent) to choose a certain buff.

Grim Quest is a very simple yet lore-rich game that takes place in a world overtaken by insanity and darkness. The story takes plave in Ashborne, the last remnant of the Old Empire, rivaling the capital's glamour in its prime, has now been reduced to a husk of its former self, for The Tear that was started by the Sages of the Sun Court has grew, corrupting and consuming everything in its path. However, a beacon of hope still stands within the stronghold of Ashborne. You, the main character, takes on the role as an adventurer, clearing the nearby dungeons overrun with monsters while aquiring skills and spells to aid you in your journey.
