Dead Island 2

So after eight years of waiting globally the wacky zombie survival game Dead island 2 haa released and you might be wondering....... What are my thoughts on this game? Well after spending 40 hours and doing every sidequest and beating the main story this is what I have to say. Gameplay Now starting with the gameplay aspect of this game I love it! It's slow compared to the likes of games such as dying light and dead rising for that matter but that doesn't make it bad infact........ It's enjoyable! If repetitive at time but for the most part it doesn't overstay it's welcome and for about 20 to 30 hours of gameplay it definitely gets the job done. The variety in the way you can cut zombies with machetes knife's hammer's claws or use environmental hazards to kill the infected is very gruesome and fun! And me personally I'm a big fan of the Arsenal of weapons and the amount to pick from and mod through blueprints and so on there's even throwables called 'curveballs' in game and instead of Crafting them separately much like the original dead island the throwables In this game recharge overtime making it much less tedious to scavenge for resources. And finally the skill cards and well oh boy! They bring much flavour to an already extensive combat system with the 6 slayers having exclusive skill cards to themselves (I chose Jacob because of the minor hit damage with each swing) And autophage skills which buff your fury (which is unlocked later into the game) But nerds your health healing and stamina. Personally I recommend only having 2 autophage skills at a time considering applying three nerfs healing items and completely gets rid of health regeneration all together!
