Cool and underrated little gem!

Astronite (Reviewed) Developer: Dume Games Studio Publisher: Jandusoft Released: 30 Nov, 2022 Price: $13 USD Astronite is a shallow attempt as a 1-bit Metroidvania that tries its "best" to combine action, exploration, puzzles and platforms. The combat is difficult and can be unforgiving in the early stages of the game progressively becoming harder as you find and acquire your missing gear to fend off the invaders.

Astronite is a PC semi-hardcore indie space platformer where you will need to survive on an alien planet after a crash. All your tools will be stripped from you, so you will have to start from the scratch. You can use keyboard or a controller. If you use keyboard - it will be only keyboard, no mouse. Key binding feels unusual, so require some time to get used to. If you will decide to go with a controller though you will feel comfortable straight from the start.

Astronite is an interesting platformer experience. Black and White graphics, interesting game mechanics, challenging bosses with a complex combat mechanics and movement patterns. Some sort of progression with weapon and tools recovery and upgrades. Defo a go to title for people who love platformers and some slight challenge.
